Tom Chase Award

The Tom Chase Award is given to someone who exhibits four qualities: integrity, informal leadership, working behind the scenes to get things done and willingness to go the extra mile. In ancient times, a Roman soldier could legally force anyone on the road to carry his pack for one mile. One man exhorted his followers to go voluntarily an extra mile. The Tom Chase Award recipient is such a person.

Spirit Gala Award

Mountain States Foundation recognizes one individual annually who makes a difference in our region through their commitment, dedication and support of community needs. Nineteen recipients have been recognized for demonstrating these qualities since 1990.
