Niswonger Children's Hopsital Bass Fishing Tournament

Children are not small adults. Because children are growing and developing, children's health care needs are constantly changing. They need health care that is tailored to their unique needs, involves their parents from start to finish and is provided in places designed to be kid-sized and child-friendly. This hospital was designed to provide for the unique needs of children and combines compassionate, personalized care with state-of-the-art technology. Niswonger Children's Hospital is dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to high-quality, cost-effective health care services.

Tournament Prizes

Niswonger Children's Hospital Bass Fishing Tournament regulations allow a two-angler team per boat. Prizes will be awarded to the boat with the highest combined weight of largemouth, smallmouth and/or spotted bass.

First Prize -  $3,000 guaranteed
Second Prize - $1,000*
Third Prize - $400*
Fourth Prize - $200*
Fifth - Eighth Prize - $100 each*
Big Largemouth: $200
Big Smallmouth: $200
* Second through eighth prizes may be pro-rated.

Sponsorship Opportunites

Proceeds from the Niswonger Children's Hospital Bass Fishing Tournament will benefit the needs of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and the purchase of equipment necessary to maintain a stable environment for the most critical infants.
At last year's tournament, participants caught a total of 823 pounds of fish, and the tournament netted more than $6,500. The monies raised were used to purchase needed equipment for Niswonger's NICU.
